For more than 41 years, CanCham has been an indispensable vehicle for the relationship between Mexico and Canada. At a time of great relevance for the relationship with Canada, since its founding, CanCham Mexico has promoted free trade, the rule of law, investment, transparency and best practices within and outside the business sector, helping its members to improve and grow their businesses.
Since 1982, the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Mexico has been the voice of Canadian business in our country and was founded by a group of Canadian entrepreneurs with the objective of representing Canadian business interests in Mexico and promoting trade and investment between Canada and Mexico. Today, CanCham represents more than 300 Canadian and non-Canadian companies, from multinational corporations to SMEs. Its members come from all industrial sectors located in different Mexican states that have Canadian investment, including aerospace, transportation, energy, manufacturing and mining, among others.

In 2024, Mexico and Canada will celebrate 80 years of diplomatic relations and 42 years since CanCham Mexico has been part of this effort. It is evident and tangible that the relationship between our two countries today has a dynamism that strengthens academic, cultural and governmental ties, but above all constantly strengthens and renews their commercial exchange and business networks.
Today more than ever, we are committed to assuming a leadership role in Mexico's business diaspora and to continuing to strengthen the vibrant and multifaceted relationship between Mexico and Canada, which is why we are guided by unwavering values:
Ethics - Canadian companies established in Mexican territory conduct their business with honesty, ecological, social and labor respect, integrity and fairness and under the highest national and international quality standards.
Environment - our partners are committed to protecting the environment, working with the highest standards of environmental protection and remediation in Canada and Mexico, and always previously evaluating the level of environmental impact of the projects to be financed, among other initiatives.
Transparency - our partners work with complete transparency by being accountable to numerous stakeholders, such as their shareholders, customers and employees, as well as to local communities, governments and national and international stakeholders who welcome and support us.
Community investment - it is important for CanCham and its members to invest in the community we serve and of which we are a part. We are proud of our members and the efforts they make on a daily basis.

Solidarity - CanCham members recognize that solidarity is a fundamental value that is not limited to various forms of assistance, but rather to the continuous effort to enable more people to become economically independent.
Through the promotion of trade and investment between Mexico and Canada, and with the support of Canadian companies in the region, CanCham will continue to promote the well-being of Mexicans and Canadians.
As part of our strategy of sustained growth and with the objective of continuing to represent the interests of our members and to be the voice of Canadian companies in Mexico, we have opened our Coahuila - Durango chapter and will serve Canadian companies in the area as of January 8, 2024.
